Art Requirements
Center Print (#SP7)
Image Size:
2.00 x 2.50" Resolution: 200 dots per
inch. Format: High Quality JPEG, TIFF,
PSD or EPS formats.
-
Image should have white background.
Full color background image will be subject to a
premium charge of 10 to 25%. Charge is
determined after review of image. Additionally,
full color images use a lot of food color which
will tend to "color" one's lips & tongue when
consumed.
-
To keep text clear and readable, use font size
10 or bigger.
Bold fonts with thick lines will show up better
on the cookie. If using fonts with tails (thin
lines), use size 14 or above.
-
Do not use opacity or transparency tools
to show overlapping images. Overlapping images
where both images are visible do not turn out
that well on the cookies.
-
For portrait images, it is best to zoom in on
the face of the person.
Full body shots are not recommended because it
leaves the face very small. When people look at
these cookies, the tendency is to zoom in on the
face, so when the face is small, it does not
have as big of an impact.

Frequently Asked
Questions
-
What is the difference between Center
Print and Full Print Cookie Greetings ?
Size of Eatings Greetings is about 2.5 x 3.25". Center
print image is 2.0 x 2.50" and is imprinted in the center of
the cookie while the full print will cover the entire cookie.
-
What is 3 color process imprinting ?
It's the same as 4 color (CMYK) process imprinting in
that it is capable of reproducing full color images. The only
difference is it does not use solid black coloring. Black
colors are reproduced by combining the 3 colors (CMY).
-
How close can you come to specific
PMS colors ?
No guarantees but we will do our best to get close to
the color specified. We've been making these cookies since
1997 and have made cookies for many high profile companies
(Disney, Clorox, Intel, Microsoft, Armani, Vanity Fair,
Cosmopolitan, etc.), and colors generally have not been an
issue with any of our customers. If colors are an extreme
priority, we suggest you order a preproduction sample to
ensure that the imprint is to your satisfaction.
-
How long will the images stay looking
that way ? Is there any way to preserve it ?
There is no way to really preserve the colors other
than to keep it out of direct sunlight. Because they are
imprinted with food coloring, it will fade noticeably over
time.
-
Do you have any other gift packaging
besides the Gift Tin ?
We do not carry other types of Gift Packaging. When looking
for alternative packaging solutions, the dimension of the
cookies are approximately 2.75 x 3.50 x 0.45". You will want
to allow additional space for cushioning material.
If you are going to be shipping these as gifts to individuals,
only gift boxes or tins should be used. To ensure safe
shipping, it is recommended that you send us the boxes or tins
and let us package the cookies for you. We can then drop ship
it for you from our factory. Cost of fulfillment will vary
depending on what is required. If using bags, baskets or
other packaging solutions, we recommend that the cookies be
shipped to you separately and you either package it yourself
or find a fulfillment house that can do the work for you.
Packaging solutions other than tins and boxes are normally not
good for shipping.
-
How are the cookies shipped ? Do
they break ?
We limit the in-transit time to 3 days or less. Ground
service is used for most of western U.S. and air service for
rest of country. Breakage is generally not a problem,
but it does happen occasionally. Whenever possible, we
will ship the cookies out a few days in advance of your use
date. This allows us to take care of any issues or problems.
